My Story
I will be sleeping out in Lords Cricket Ground, raising funds for people facing adverse poverty and homelessness in the London area.
I’m taking part in the CEO Sleepout to raise awareness and combat homelessness in the UK—a growing crisis that affects over 270,000 people each year. On this night, I’ll experience a small glimpse of what it’s like to sleep outside in the cold, confronting the harsh reality that thousands face daily. By stepping into this challenging situation, I hope to raise much-needed funds and attention for those without a safe, warm place to sleep.
Homelessness isn’t just about a lack of shelter—it’s about vulnerable individuals being trapped in cycles of poverty, mental health struggles, and systemic failures. Through this event, I aim to spark conversations about the deeper causes of homelessness and support the organisations working tirelessly to offer housing, rehabilitation, and support to those in need.
This cause means so much to me because no one should ever have to choose between basic necessities or face such insecurity. During the early days of my first business, I worked with many people facing homelessness and people sleeping rough. Their challenges are enormous and I believe by working together we can significantly reduce the issues people face and tackle homelessness.
