My Story

I will be sleeping out in Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground on 28th October, raising funds for people facing extreme poverty and homelessness in the Manchester area and supporting our charity Walking With The Wounded (WWTW).

Walking With The Wounded ‘WWTW’ is a leading UK military charity which recognises that those who served, deserve. They empower veterans by reigniting their sense of purpose, enabling them to make a positive contribution to their communities and lead independent lives.

Whether mentally, physically or socially wounded they support ex-service personnel and their families most in need, offering personalised employment support, mental health and wellbeing support and support care coordination to help veterans who are struggling after military service. The Home Straight programme has a particular focus on supporting veterans who have been homeless.

This aligns with the work that we are doing in CyberPro and Specialist Skills Hub to support veterans with skills, confidence, support and employment.
