My Story

I'm joining our CEO and colleagues here at Yorkshire Building Society, in a sleep out at Elland Road Stadium to raise funds for FareShare.

Food poverty is a terrifying reality for 13 million people - it's no longer a problem, it's a crisis that cannot be ignored. FareShare is the UK's biggest charity fighting hunger and tackling food waste.

One in four people of working age are currenty out of work, with many facing barriers to gaining or sustaining employment.

We aim to raise £1m this year to fund FareShare's Building Skills for the Future programme, which will support, equip and prepare over 2,500 people for employment.
