My Story

I took part in my very first CEO Sleepout back in 2018. I had no idea then just how deeply it would shape my understanding of homelessness or how strongly it would anchor my commitment to doing something about it. In 2023 I became an Ambassador for Nottingham’s CEO Sleepout, an honour that continues to inspire me every single day.

This year, once again, I’ll be joining an incredible group of compassionate people from across Nottingham’s business community for a night beneath the stars at Meadow Lane. It’s not a night of comfort. It’s a night of perspective.

The local charities supported by the CEO Sleepout do extraordinary work with limited resources. They support people facing unimaginable challenges - people who deserve dignity, safety, and hope. Their impact is woven into the fabric of our city and they need us to help them keep going.

You can sign up and join me at Meadow Lane and swap your comfy bed for one night. Bring a sleeping bag, wrap up warm, and experience something that will stay with you long after the sun rises.

I can’t promise comfort but I can promise meaning.

You will be making a difference to someone who needs it.

You may even save a life. It’s just one night.

Some people don’t have a choice, they face this reality every night.

Or, you can stay in your warm, cosy bed and make a donation instead.
