My Story

We all carry more than people see. Even the most capable, successful, and “sorted” lives can wobble when circumstances change—ill health, job loss, relationship breakdown, or just a run of bad luck. The truth is, none of us are immune, and none of us get through life entirely on our own. That’s why organisations like Aberdeen Cyrenians matter so deeply. They step in at the moments when stability disappears, offering not just shelter, but dignity, compassion, and a route back to hope for people who need it most.

That’s why I’m taking part in the CEO Sleep Out 2026—to stand in solidarity with those who face homelessness every day, and to help raise vital funds for the incredible work Aberdeen Cyrenians do across our communities. If you’re able to support this worthy cause, any donation—large or small—would be hugely appreciated. Together, we can help ensure that when someone falls, there’s always a hand there to help them back up.
