My Story
I have the opportunity to support charities that benefit local communities and those less fortunate. My passion and drive to make a real difference have driven me to support 'Charity Begins at Home', a UK registered charity.
The organization, which runs food distribution every Friday and Food banks, solely relies on volunteers and donations. We look after 280 people in need by providing them with fresh warm meals, water, smoothies, yoghurts, sandwiches, ready meals, crisps, chocolates, biscuits, fruits, sleeping bags, clothes and plenty of other items. Every Friday afternoon we are at the Strand - Agar Street in the heart of London. The charity is now in its 9th year and was featured in the King Charles first Christmas Broadcast in 2022.
In 2021, my first year with the CEO Sleepout initiative, I raised over £13,000. In 2022 it was £24,000, and in 2023, I raised £27,000. In total, this is over £64,000 that has been raised and donated to the charity with the CEOSleepout initiative.
We here at Flemings Mayfair Hotel additional cook & prepare over 60 meals every Wednesday for families in need via a charity bike project led by CBAH. In the last 4 years, we have donated over 12,000 meals cooked by our incredible chefs.
I was interviewed for the BBC 1 & BBC London news and LBC radio & was live on GBNews to raise awareness of homelessness. In December 2023 I was interviewed by the Jim Diamond radio show & filmed for the David Roses Art project.
