My Story

I'm joining compassionate people from across Darlington for an unforgettable night beneath the stars. I will be sleeping out in Mowden Park Arena, raising funds for people facing adverse poverty and homelessness in the Darlington area.

I've been a Trustee of First Stop Darlington for 10 years. First Stop is a local Charity which has been serving the Town for over 25 years. Initially helping the homeless it now provides a Wellbeing and Work Hub to help people to navigate life difficulties with advice on housing and benefits alongwith activities to improve mental wellbeing in order to have control of their destination. This approach helps prevent homlessness and give people opportunities for a better life.
