My Story

I’ll be joining others from across Leicester for a night sleeping out at Mattioli Wood Stadium.

One night for us - but a reality that too many people are living every day.

Over time, it’s been the small interactions that have stayed with me.
Moments of eye contact. Conversations. Choosing not to walk past.

It’s made me reflect on how easily this could be any of us.
Often more a matter of circumstance or fate than anything else.

Something I’ve always tried to do is acknowledge people.
To recognise them. To speak.

Because dignity matters.

This feels like an opportunity to go a step further - to not just see, but to act.

I’ve been blessed in many ways.
And I think it’s important to move from that space.

We’ll be raising funds to support people facing poverty and homelessness in our local community.
