My Story

I'm joining amazing business people from across Reading for an unforgettable night beneath the stars to support Launchpad Reading and other local charities who help vulnerable people in Reading.

I hate to camp, I'm not great in any bed except my own, but it has to be done ...!

While the Sleep Out doesn’t aim to replicate homelessness, by sleeping outside at Reading Abbey Ruins, we'll get an insight into some of the things people experience when they’re rough sleeping night after-night – such as fear, cold temperatures, an uncomfortable bed, and limited sleep.

I'll do it for one night knowing I can go home to a warm home with a comfy bed and heating.. that's not the case for many people in Reading.
