My Story

I’ve chosen to take part in the CEO Sleepout to raise vital funds and awareness for people in our local city who are facing poverty and homelessness.

Homelessness is an increasing problem, and it doesn’t always look the way we expect. It’s not just people sleeping rough on the streets, it also includes individuals and families living in temporary, insecure, or unsafe accommodation, often without knowing where they’ll be from one week to the next. These hidden forms of homelessness are just as devastating.

Over time, I’ve noticed a visible increase in the number of people sleeping rough in our city. Seeing this firsthand has been confronting and has reinforced why initiatives like the CEO Sleepout matter. No one chooses this life, and many people experiencing homelessness are facing complex challenges such as rising living costs, family breakdown, mental health issues, or sudden financial hardship.

By taking part in the CEO Sleepout, I’m hoping to play a small role in making a difference. Any donation, big or small, helps create change and hopefully offer hope to people who need it most.

Thank you.
